If you basically enjoy the practice of law and consider yourself reasonably successful, but find yourself wrestling on the inside with joy-robbing stressors, I might be able to help.
For example, you could be a terrific litigator or a great rainmaker or dealmaker, but maybe you don’t manage your people as well as you’d like to, and as a result, maybe you’re tolerating energy-draining, low-level tension in your office or on your team.
Or maybe you’re a hard-charger and live with a vague fear of losing your edge, your mojo — that somehow the rewards will stop coming if you turn down your intensity.
Some Lawyers beat themselves up pretty regularly with a kind of push-pull self-judgement for not doing the things they tell themselves they “should” be doing. Some lawyers struggle with perfectionism or taking on too much, and they’re confused or stuck.
And still other attorneys are contending with perspective-altering personal or family challenges and are just trying to stay effective for their clients through a tough stretch.
Whatever your situation, I can help you achieve clarity about what’s going on and learn ways to become more self-accepting and more empowered to bring in to being the quality of life you want for yourself.
What qualifies me, you might ask, to help those who are seeking greater internal alignment and efficacy? The simple answer is my own life experience and my deep drive to understand and accept myself — a drive that has propelled me to work over the last 30 of my 61 years with several outstanding therapists, guides, teachers and coaches; a drive that has led me to find and absorb core human wisdom from a wide range of spiritual traditions.
I’m a teacher at heart and am doing my right work in this life in my work with lawyers (see my bio page for more about why I work with no one but lawyers). I am honored by the mutual trust my clients and I enjoy as we learn and grow together.
I welcome the opportunity to explore your inclinations to achieve more peace in your life. Call me at 203.806.1300.
